There are many
reasons why choosing to study at Tabor College could be the best decision you
have made this year.
As the college is inter-denominational, we do not follow a certain pattern of thinking, instead we train our students how to think about Christ, the church and their own spirituality. Tabor College encourages students to stretch their thinking and challenge their own beliefs by listening to others around them. The courses are designed to help students to grow and mature in their walk with Christ and to help prepare students to minister effectively wherever they may be.
Aside from the academic pursuits, we are situated within a campus community that includes a cafe, Christian retirement village, school and employment agency all within walking distance. Hillside church is also located on this site. The lawns are plentiful to sit and relax on, the birds twitter, and the gardens are beautiful (perfect for study breaks). The bus stops right outside our door and we are close to Roe and Tonkin Highways. There is plenty of car parking.
Tabor encourages community within the college. Pastoral care groups are set
up each semester to ensure that all students have support during their time with
us. The lecturers are not only interested in the fact that you have passed your
subjects, but also in your personal growth and spiritual walk.
