Ann Ibrahim

Ann lbrahim enjoys challenging assumptions and helping students wrestle new concepts!

Ann is currently the Program Coordinator for Undergraduate Counselling at Tabor Adelaide. With 6 years industry experience as a counselor and past student of Tabor Adelaide she has 'experienced firsthand the impact of lecturers taking a personal interest in students. The small classes, community atmosphere makes for a great, interactive learning experience. Since 2010, Ann has been working at Tabor Adelaide because it provides a safe space for negotiating the challenge of integrating counselling theory and theology'.

As Ann Ibrahim loves impacting the love of learning, be set to grasp concepts and engage with lots of contradictions!

Debbie Grace

Debbie Grace, External Studies Coordinator (Counselling), joined the staff team in 2002 after studying a Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Bachelor of Christian Counselling at Tabor Adelaide. Debbie said she enjoys teaching because of the 'interaction with external students; getting to know and seeing them grow and develop through their courses'. People describe her as 'willing to help, committed to Christian faith, enjoys time with friends, in depth conversations and in the lighter moments, and laughter'. When she is not at Tabor Adelaide Debbie loves cooking, gardening, photography, nature walking, reading, history and being a grandmother. Something interesting about Debbie, is that she was brought up in the Exclusive Brethren, so didn't do the normal things that a child and teenager would do in our culture.

Debbie Grace looks forward to helping you with your external studies.

Vanessa Daughtry

A Counsellor in Private Practice, Vanessa Daughtry is an Adjunct Lecturer for 'Introduction to Worldviews and Human Relationships' and 'Grief, Loss and Attachment' at Tabor Adelaide.

"My study at Tabor Adelaide involved integration of Christian faith, community and evidenced based teaching. It was transformational teaching at its most supportive. When the opportunity arose to contribute to a similar experience for others I embraced it" and this is why I wanted to work at Tabor Adelaide.

Teaching willing adults is the most satisfying experience of work I have yet encountered. To teach material I am passionate about to those who have a passion to understand the nature of Healing and Growth to accompany those in pain is an honour. I see it as participating in the coming of the Kingdom of God among us.

Vanessa looks forward to teaching you 'Worldviews and Human Relationships' and 'Grief, Loss and Attachment'.
