About This Course
The diaspora of individuals around the world provides a rich and enduring diversity for many countries, including our own. A Tabor TESOL qualification (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) offers students exciting and rewarding career opportunities in a growing sector, through a course which really does change lives.
Tabor’s Graduate Diploma of TESOL offers a comprehensive coursework program which provides students with an advanced and integrated understanding of contemporary TESOL practice and theory. Consisting of seven core coursework subjects and an elective, the qualification provides students with the skills and knowledge they need to design and deliver effective TESOL programs both in Australia and overseas.
The Graduate Diploma in TESOL is a coherent and independent course, which in itself provides excellent vocational grounding, and may serve as a bridge into the Master of TESOL programme.
Professional Outcomes
Graduates are able to teach English in a range of contexts, both within and outside of Australia. They may find employment in government and private organisations, teaching migrants, refugees or international students. Graduates may also elect to establish and run their own community-based TESOL programs. Please note that this award does not lead to teacher registration.
