About June
June Stankowski is the Head of the Postgraduate Counselling program, and lectures in counselling. June has had over 30 years of experience in Counselling and Clinical Supervision. June has extensive experience in working with Trauma, Domestic Violence, and is a fully trained Family and Couples Counsellor. June completed her Master of Counselling in 2000 at Notre Dame University. June’s passions include facilitating Student growth, exploring Therapeutic Alliance in the counsellor/client relationship, facilitating deeper understanding of “the self” in the counselling process.
Current Academic Projects:
- The Therapeutic Alliance with self as a precursor for flourishing interlocution

About
- Co-Facilitate a Therapeutic Community of Practice with Co-conspirator, Lachlan Saville
- I was a member of the Women’s Army and drove army trucks.
- I have a brown belt in Ju-Jitsu
- I love playing golf
- I enjoy readding- especially murder mysteries and psychological thrillers
- I enjoy going camping in beautiful places (especially if there’s a waterfall involved!)
