About Brian
Brian Gabriels is an experienced counsellor, human services practitioner and academic, who lectures within the Social Sciences program. His particular interests are in the neuroscience of psychotherapy, mental health, and the theory and application of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy a sophisticated and wise approach to human transformation. He is a clinical member and registered supervisor with Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia. His work in private practice as a counsellor and supervisor serves to enrich his academic efforts in practical ways. Brian’s lectures are highly appreciated for their clarity and immediate application.
